Of these marketers, 60% did so because they knew that manual submissions were more effective and 26% thought they were more effective in getting a top search engine ranking.
As of March 2005, Google has a share of 47.3% of the entire searches being done on the internet, whereas Yahoo records 20.9% and MSN 13.6%. Rest 18.2% is shared by other search engines.
