Carl Zeiss is the world leader in optical devices. Its joint venture with GKB Hitech Lenses has allowed it to make Goa its headquarters for its India Operations. When Carl Zeiss came to Team Inertia Technologies, they needed a website solution that carried forward its global branding strategy. Its world class products needed an online leverage that reflected its quality, brand consciousness to the market. Our Design Team then sat upon the task of recreating the branding with an Indian touch, without compromising the global recall of Carl Zeiss. The result was www.zeiss.in. A website that showcases the various products of the Carl Zeiss stable that they have to offer in India. As Zeiss increases its presence in India, a updatable store locator was introduced on the site. As part of the Customer Delight Scheme, Zeiss provides each of its customer with a Product CD that has their order information, which can be tracked on www.zeiss.in. We used a combination of PHP & XML DOM classes to provide a data bridge web application to transfer data from their SAP system. Visit www.zeiss.in |
